Welcome to the Crack-A-Lack-A (CALA) Month's official homepage.
If you are unsure what CALA is, allow me to give you a brief history:

    On December 31, 2007/January 1, 2008 at 24:00:00 two young teenagers, Keri and Faith - both fifteen at the time, resolved to bastardize Naruto a little bit more during the new year. Once they returned home from their trip to Lake Tahoe, Nevada, they informed their friend Vikki of this resolution and the three girls thought long and hard as to how to do this.
    All the teens, being fan fiction writers, decided the best way to go about this was through fan fictions. Keri and Faith both draw as well, and decided to throw some pictures into the deal.. So the teens picked one month out the year where nothing happened and would use that month to "get high" the Naruto fan community.
    They named this month CALA. Taking the most random of Naruto characters, pairing them together, and writing/drawing them would be a wonderful way to do their deed. So they did just that, making sure - of course - that none of the pairings had ever been done before (on fanfiction.net, at least).

If you wish to join in on the fun, simply follow these rules and instructions:

Things in Which to Instruct You
If you would like to join in on the festivities,
please contact Keri with either your art work or your fan fiction.
For fan fiction, we will only be taking one-shots,
meaning stories that begin and end in one chapter.
Art may be a clear sketch, inked image, or colored image.
It can be on lined or blank paper, scanned in or photographed.

Rules
If you do not follow these rules exactly, your entry will not be included.

1. You must have your image/story in the day before it's due. IE: Turn in you "Kidomaru & Pakkun" (day two) entry on May 1st; your "Gamabunta & Konan" (day thee) on May 2nd, etc.
2. The work must be your own. To prove that, please watermark your image with your first name, DA screen name, and email address. This is necessary or your image will not be posted. If you do not have a DA, I will accept it with out the username, but please inform me that you do not have one.
Note: There is really no way for me to know if the fan fiction is yours or not, so I'm going to trust you.
3. Please do not steal the art work or the fan fiction posted, remove the watermark, and claim credit. That's just rude, sad, and, well, illegal. If you do do this, I will personally see to it that the website you host the work on will make you remove it with some repercussion be it suspension or being banned. If you see someone stealing your work, please email me and I will do everything I can to make sure you are protected.
Note: I can only do this if you live in the United States of America where art-theft is illegal.
4. Nothing over PG-13 please.

* We understand that Sasuke & Sakura is not crack, but it is to us and gives us a nice challenge.
